Option for Indestructible Monitors
Description of the feature
An option to prevent monitors from being broken via disabling the triggers or something of this kind.
Why should this be implemented
Though the ability for monitors to be broken makes for some cute fun if they feature the face of GLaDOS or Wheatley, monitors also see excellent (and more important) use in providing visibility to critical components of a map in cases where the layout can't be contorted reasonably enough to provide direct visibility across the chamber. Though breaking these monitors doesn't completely ruin the visibility they provide, it does hinder them and doesn't have any benefits from a pure puzzle perspective. Players may accidentally break monitors just by tossing cubes at them absentmindedly or similar actions which they will regret later, or more commonly among some puzzle players, noclip into them by accident while examining a puzzle.

While I think this should be added as a stylevar, you should seriously consider changing your puzzle's layout if it relies on monitors for visibility.
It is indeed rare that a layout's conditions are complex enough or interfere strongly enough with each other that a monitor is necessary, (and I have certainly encountered cases where they could be avoided with some intelligent layout reworking), but such situations do occur every now and then. Maybe more important are situations where a monitor isn't strictly necessary but still conveys an important facet of the map quickly, such visibility to an across-the-map connection for which signage alone would be too obscure/clunky.
I was thinking of making this "start reversed" or the like on the monitor item, so you can toggle it for individual ones. On Overgrown, where monitors are cracked by default, it'd also switch them to an unbroken version.
