Surface marker does not texture wall

The base behavior of surface markers (texturing the panel with a style-specific "important" texture) doesn't seem to be working at all.

This may actually be a bug with https://github.com/BEEmod/BEE2.4, if the issue has to do with the compiler.

Definitely not working in:

  • Overgrown
  • BTS
  • Clean

With "panel" you mean the surface of a boxel, or an angled panel?

Sorry, unclear. The surface marker doesn't texture walls it's applied to.

Seems like special textures are broken entirely, they don't appear on panels either (which is likely the cause of #3774).

The surface marker item also has its surface normal flipped, so it doesn't apply the texture change to the right surface.

It's not functional currently. In the next release I've temporarily hidden this item.
