BALLView Animation Record/Start is buggy

Reported by akdehof on 29 Jun 39199505 11:33 UTC Trying to record the movement using the spacenavigator is not possible. Also, changes introduced by editing via the Structures or Representations window is not recognized by the animation-recording. Activating "Export png" and recording, starting, deactivating png-export and again starting the animation crashes.

Commented by Marcel on 15 Sep 39810242 23:33 UTC Well, currently only SimulationThreads can write output to PNG-files. (Because, as it seems, only SimulationThreads send SceneMessages of type EXPORT_PNG for each frame).

Therefore, this only works when viewing md-trajectories in Ballview. But of course it could might quite helpful to use this feature also when doing something else... :-)
