Mobile devices don't allow for mods... Especially not Apple devices.

I am running Civ 6 on my iPad with mods. Can’t use UI because it uses new files that we don’t have access to. But DB, Lua, icons, etc. work. The tricky part is to copy them into the device because that is where Apple is not helping. You need 3rd party soft for that.

I'm just gonna pop in and say that we can also use mods on the Nintendo Switch version of the game via CFW. You just rename the platform subfolder and dump it in the DLC folder or the Mods folder in the savedata. The situation is probably identical to iOS. Lua, SQLite, graphics, models all work.

The switch seems to also use the phone UI, so this is probably a slighly more generic request than iPhone.

Not sure what you guys are talking about. Use iTunes "FileSharing" to copy mod files associated with an app to your device. Or use the free copytrans app.

Having said that, I've had poor luck running older versions of CQUI [the ios version is way behind at 1.0.0.194] or most mods. The game looks like it is thinking on the first turn, the globe keeps spinning in the lower right corner of the screen. You can access the main menu and scroll around, but can't "change government" or close the policy reminder popup in the middle of the screen.
