Implement completions for OCI module references
This functionality is really really sought after on a project we are working on to further enhance the developer experience in enterprises, Is it realistic to expect this in the near future or should we pursue developing our own extensions to support this?
Hi @ramkobos -- we definitely will implement this at some point, but don't have a precise ETA. Is this something you would be interested in submitting a PR for? If you are open to working on it in your own extension, I think we'd rather get that into bicep proper. Happy to have our engineering team provide guidance if that sounds interesting to you.
sorry, for the late reply. We see now that our timelines will make our path a little difficult, so we have decided to proceed with creating a plugin. And in that manner we would be interested to go in dialog with the engineering team for guidance to get a better start going into this enhancement and being able to contribute with a pull request. @Palving will be our guy doing the heavy lifting :)
What timelines are you expecting? @bhsubra is currently active on this work. I'd expect it to be completed sometime in Jan or shortly thereafter.
