It appears the compatibility could expand by implementing a new property. See: https://github.com/Azure/azure-quickstart-templates/pull/12519

According to the PR implementing SONAR_ES_BOOTSTRAP_CHECKS_DISABLE to true solves the issue keeping versions below 7.8

@jbrostgov thanks for bringing this up here and apologies for not seeing it earlier. Does it make sense to introduce this parameter to the template (asking as it is been a while)?

@erudinsky oh my... I completely forgot about this. If I remember correctly, this prevents the use of Azure SQL for the backend when running in a container. Therefore, having it as a parameter in the template would allow for newer versions to function with that architecture. It has been long enough though that I cannot be 100%. Appreciate it being looked at nonetheless.
