func host start stuck and not starting - connect ECONNREFUSED

Steps to reproduce

just run . .venv/bin/activate && func host start

it works after waiting for a long time...

same here, just create a demo app and run, it sucks forever.

It seems the core tool is trying to connect to functionscdn.azureedge.net at start, when I disconnect to network, it get following error.

System.Net.Http: No such host is known. (functionscdn.azureedge.net:443). System.Net.Sockets: No such host is known. [2024-08-13T12:39:50.553Z] Microsoft.Azure.WebJobs.Script: Error building configuration in an external startup class. System.Net.Http: No such host is known. (functionscdn.azureedge.net:443). System.Net.Sockets: No such host is known. Value cannot be null. (Parameter 'provider') I work around it by set up a proxy, I think print en error message if it fail to connect to functionscdn.azureedge.net is a good idea.
