Is azure-devops-python-api still being maintained and how can we add functionality to 7.x ADO api

It does not appear thatazure-devops-python-api is stale or not being maintained any longer 407.

I would like to start adding functionality to some of the 7.x api endpoints.

There is also this project simple_ado that is far less cumbersome than azure-devops-python-api, however, refactoring to use this is going to be a fair amount of work.

What path can we take if azure-devops-python-api is no longer being updated?
