Pin template to a version/commit hash

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I would like to float the idea of pinning azd templates in awesome-azd to a version (ideally a commit hash).

Describe the solution you'd like When I deploy an azd template, I want to know that the content submitted to azd has not substantially changed at short notice which could affect anything from functionality (it could be broken), to security, to cost.

I think of this as similar to referencing a container image via its hash, vs a floating tag like "latest". If we did use a branch/tag, then we'd pin to a resolved hash.
