ie test functionality bring back

The only thing that I as a user miss from the old ie test experience is seeing the visual check marks indicating progress through steps, section headings, and seeing outputs only in the ie execute stage and seeing only the progress and section headings in ie test. Would be great to have that surface in some mode of ie testing
