Latest LTS version of Node.js is 20.11.0, current version in CloudShell image is 16.20.2
What changes are you requesting?
Update to latest LTS of Node.js
What scenario are these changes enabling?
The current version in the image does not support the Node.js templates for Azure Developer CLI (azd), which is another tool here in this image.

Mariner 2.0 only has Node 18, we will be able to use Node 20 when Mariner 3.0 rolls out, ETA Summer 2024
Closing this issue as Cloud Shell has migrated to Mariner 3.0 (now known as Azure Linux 3.0). Node v20.14.0 is now the default in Cloud Shell.
