Could we get an option for turning on Managed Prometheus after the AKS cluster is created?

Are there any plans to add support for this soon?

Yes, definitely. We're seeing demand for the feature.

Issue smells stale, no activity for 30 days. Stale Label will be removed if the issue is updated, otherwise closed in a month.
