Meteor 1.0 compatibility

This package breaks my Meteor 1.0 app

I see "Cannot read property 'Friends' of undefined", "ReferenceError: Template is not defined", and "ReferenceError: Spacebars is not defined" in console after adding the package

Check out the fork. I believe that one works, and yeah, I'm not actively maintaining this, I don't really use Meteor anymore.
