Option to display sub-tabs

Open pol76 opened this issue 4 years ago • 3 comments

We need an option in Profile Builder > Tabs to show subtabs either as content under the parent tab content or as sub-tabs.

For example, if for the bbPress tabs I enable the option to show Replies, Favorites and Subscriptions as sub-tabs of the topic tab, they should be displayed like the image below:

sub-tabs

The same should be available for GD, Woo and all other add-ons where this could be appropriate.

Let me know if you need more details.

Thanks

I will check with this as we already have the functionality to display child tab content as a stacked content and not as sub-tab content.

@pol76 i thought we had agreed on something slightly different?

The first point is the same:

  1. Currently make a sub item adds the content stacked, the task would be to add a new setting (tickbox) "Add as sub tab" this would ofcourse add the data only as a sub tab item.

  2. (this is where i thought we agreed on something a little different) For things like bbPress, woo, edd etc, i thought the plan was to auto add all items as sub tabs (without having to actually add sub tab items) and then DONT show it as a sub tab if the actual sub tab item has already been added as a main tab.

@Stiofan @wpdev10 sounds good to me, whatever it's easier for you guys to develop.
