Recurring invoices

I have been asked by my client whether it is possible to create recurring invoices. I know you can set up items with recurring costs, but they want to set up an invoice that can be paid once, and then a month or so later they will automatically be sent a new invoice for the same amount and they can choose at that point whether they wish to continue and pay again, or they can decline the new invoice (which will stop all future repeated invoices)
