Funding support to attend the second Centre Point meeting in Singapore.

Description

As Head of Staking at Everstake, I would like to represent the company and the broader validator perspective at the second Centre Point meeting in September. Everstake has been a long-standing partner and contributor to the Neo ecosystem, actively engaged as a Council member and supporting its development over the years. Attending Centre Point is an opportunity to continue this contribution, share expertise gained from operating across many proof-of-stake networks, and help drive meaningful discussions around the future of Neo.

Motivation

I believe I can provide meaningful contributions to the event by sharing insights from operating one of the largest validator companies, highlighting challenges and opportunities from the staking side, and engaging in open discussions about how to create stronger conditions for projects and communities to thrive. Supporting growth, innovation, and collaboration across the ecosystem is at the heart of my motivation to attend.

Goals

My main goal is to contribute to discussions with other validators, builders, and ecosystem contributors, sharing Everstake’s experience and insights. I aim to explore practical ways to strengthen governance and network security, support builders and users, and foster a culture of transparency, innovation, and collaboration within the Neo community.

Deliverables Verifiability

All deliverables will be verified by the Neo team. On our side, Everstake will actively promote our involvement, creating and sharing content around the event to highlight our contribution and engagement.

Budget Plan

• Flights – estimated return economy flights from Warsaw to Singapore: around 1,000 USD
• Hotel accommodation – 4 nights (26–29 September) at 205 USD per night, agreed rate: 820 USD
• Total Budget: 1,820 USD

Short-Bio

I am Head of Staking at Everstake, one of the largest blockchain infrastructure companies supporting over 80 protocols. I have been working in the industry for more than three years, with a strong focus on validator operations, governance, and community education. My expertise lies in research, ecosystem analysis, and building processes that strengthen staking operations and community engagement.

Portfolio of Projects / Past Experience

At Everstake, I have been leading staking operations across numerous ecosystems, including major proof-of-stake networks. I have also contributed to governance discussions, ecosystem research, and educational initiatives. Recently, I have been focusing on enhancing validator processes, supporting staking-related product development, and fostering community initiatives both online and offline. This background allows me to bring a comprehensive, cross-ecosystem perspective to Neo and its growth trajectory.

Hi Mariia, Thank you for spending time creating this well-formatted proposal, engaging in Grantshares, and expressing interest in attending CenterPoint.

As a council member, COZ holds the expectation that you (or a delegate) will be attending the event because you are obligated to do so as a council member who must be actively engaged in the governance of this ecosystem.

We urge you to consider using the GAS that your team already receives for your council role for attendance and to also consider allocating some of that GAS to sponsoring the event as other active council members are doing.

At this time, we cannot ethically vote in favor of this proposal out of obligation to the community, but hope you will attend the event either way as one of the leaders in this ecosystem.
