We are a community based agriculture that enables farmers buy verified seeds, fertilizers, logistics and packaging, by pass middlemen and not rely on paper based record keeping.

Foodsply offers a multi-sided, blockchain-enabled marketplace aiming to empower smallholder farmers by connecting them with verified suppliers of agricultural DePIN inputs such as IoT sensors, drones, mesh networking hardware, and more. The platform is built to address the pervasive issue of fake farm inputs and unreliable services that undermine trust and productivity in rural farming communities. It integrates decentralized technologies, smart contracts, and token incentives to promote transparency, traceability, and community-based governance in the agricultural supply chain.

Motivation

Why are you requesting funding? Is there anything that triggered your interest and would like to share with us? I love agriculture, previous to Foodsply we were developing a fractional real estate dapp a industry that we were not experienced in. Once the pandemic came members of the team had to line up outside for food in extremely cold weather. It was at this point the founder realized they needed to pivot to meet the growing change the economy.

We would bring value to the community by enabling users to stake their NEO, buy produce, transaction fees. Increase liquidity to NEO blockchain and create awareness; overall implement NEO as a platform currency available through a DEX.

Deliverables Verifiability

POC-Launch: Develop functional POC with NEO integration, decentralized dapp, onboarding smallholder farmers onto the platform along with NEO functionality. Build new website, redesign ui/ux of dapp.

Success Indicators

Minimum 50 small holder farmers registered to NEO wallets
End‑to‑end crop record posted to NEO blockchain.

Hardware Integration: Integrate hardware IoT devices with NEO. Pilot community farmers with 20 sensors and connect approved devices, drones, sensors and gateways APIs, including on chain recording of crop environmental data in real time.

Success Indicators

≥90 % device uptime over 30 days.
10 GB of telemetry hashes committed on‑chain.

Tokenomics Mechanism & Verification: Confirmation of our tokenomics design implementation, “test pay as you grow model”, recurring revenue model; investigate smart contracts, rewards, and implementation penalties of the platform assumptions.

Success Indicators

3 stress‑test cycles showing correct reward / penalty execution.
On‑chain report demonstrating ≥95 % data‑quality compliance.

Decentralized Marketplace: Enable verified in app hardware/sensors, drones, IoT, and mesh networks. Enable users to buy verified hardware, agri-inputs using Neo and our FSPY native token.

Success Indicators

20 SKUs live; first 25 hardware sales settled on‑chain.
Vendor KYC & device‑certification workflow completed for all listings.

DAO & Governance: Test community voting systems, such as on and off chain dispute resolution. Add features that allow stakeholders to influence rules and validate data and device credibility, also device workflow.

Success Indicator

≥3 community proposals voted; quorum ≥7 % of circulating FSPY.

Test web 2 vs web 3 core business.

I (Mario) have been in the crypto space since 2015. I've worked on projects ranging from fractional real estate investing to impact sustainable investing, and tokenized gold mining. I specialize in business modeling, research report writing, tokenomics, business development and organization. In addition I graduated from George Brown College for business administration. I really love blockchain and the technologies that it enables, such as IoT, AI agents, and more. I imagine real world assets drastically changing our environment, forest, agriculture, waste, and water, which will help to position the future towards a circular economy.

The proposal has good intentions and identifies a real-world problem where blockchain could be a solution. However, it reads like an early-stage concept that needs significant development. The financial goals are overly ambitious for the stated budget and team size, and the timeline for the extensive list of deliverables is highly unrealistic in our opinion.

Refine the scope for the initial funding request. Focus on a more achievable Minimum Viable Product given the stated resources.

If approved, it might be more practical to break the proposal into phases aligned with the roadmap.
Since it's a large-scale project, could you share any previous development work you've done on Neo or other blockchains?

I made edits to the original document some days ago but it does appears to update Grant Share website nor the Github version.

i could use some more refinement in how this solution would be used to actually solve the issue.

We enable smallholder/backyard farmers to create farming communities so they can grow produce, buy necessary seeds, fertilizers, pesticides; utilize immutable record keeping that cant be falsified. Register and mint agriculture assets to a community store like corn or cabbage; transform real world assets into a digital version that be trade between digital wallets at real world prices.

Compatibility with EVM tooling and infrastructure.

Why do you want to bring telemetry hashed on chain and why is your goal 10GB which is extremely large imo.

We want to ensure secure authentication while communicating data between sender and receiver nodes. That being said I am not the C.T.O.

do you have a proof of concept or at least interested farmers already willing to commit to using it?

I have worked more than 4 years developing this business concept and tokenomics, I also have a solid UI/UX; I personally designed the UI/UX, just need to develop it with our C.T.O and get it in the hands of small holder farmers and supply chain members.

Clearly differentiate between long-term business aspirations and short-term, fundable project milestones.

The grant represents short term goals, I edit the document doesn't appear it updated.

Address the discrepancy in the budget figures (100 GAS vs. $50,000 vs 5000 Neo). Well we need to build the platform and we also could use the gas to process transactions, test transactions. We require $29,750 not $50,000.
