Finland

Residence permit application for an employed person (TTOL)

- Intro: Apply for a residence permit with this application if you are coming to Finland to work for a Finnish employer or other employer operating in Finland and you have signed a contract of employment or accepted a binding job offer. A residence permit for an employed person is connected with labour market testing, which means that the employer must establish if there is available labour force within a reasonable time in Finland or within the EU/EEA for the work in question.

- Intro: The S Pass allows mid-level skilled staff to work in Singapore. Candidates need to earn at least $2,500 a month and have the relevant qualifications and work experience.

- Intro: The Personalised Employment Pass is for high-earning Employment Pass holders and overseas foreign professionals. It is not tied to an employer and offers greater flexibility than an Employment Pass.

Sweden

Work permit

- Intro: You must have been offered a job before you can obtain a work permit. You cannot enter Sweden until the permit has been granted. You cannot obtain a work permit to go to Sweden and look for a job.

Hong Kong

• Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates
  • Intro: IANG is the overall best visa type for many people who seek for long term residence in Hong Kong.
    1. Easy to obtain: one can immediately get 1 year IANG visa post study
    2. Long visa valid period: one can renew visa with 1-2-3 schedule; afterwards all 3 years
    3. Non work biding: One only needs to have a employer sponsor at the time of application; no requirements of maintaining employment status till the end of visa valid period.

New Zealand

  • Intro: If you have acceptable qualifications(s) that you completed in New Zealand, you can apply for a visa to work here. Depending on your qualification and where you studied, you can work for any employer for between 1 and 3 years, and do almost any work.

  • Intro: You wish to gain work experience in the Netherlands as a trainee (for study purposes) or apprentice (for work purposes). You need a residence permit for this.

Norway

• Job seekers

  • Intro: You must normally have received a job offer in Norway before you can apply for a residence permit for work purposes. If you are a skilled worker, you may in some exceptional cases get a residence permit to stay in Norway while you look for work.

UK

• High Potential Individual visa

  • Intro: The High Potential Individual (HPI) route is a short-term work visa for individuals at an early career stage, who have shown they have potential to benefit the UK workforce. From 30 May 2022, you can apply for the HPI route if you have graduated from an eligible international university in the 5 years immediately before your application. You don’t need to have a job offer to apply.

Finland

• Residence permit application for an entrepreneur

  • Intro: Apply with this application for a residence permit if you intend to come to Finland to become an entrepreneur. Before a permit can be issued, entrepreneurs usually need to enter their business in the Trade Register maintained by the Finnish Patent and Registration Office.

• Residence permit application for a start-up entrepreneur

  • Intro: Apply with this application for a residence permit if you intend to come to Finland as a start-up entrepreneur. You must obtain a positive Eligibility Statement from Business Finland before you can apply for this permit. A start-up entrepreneur cannot get a residence permit without a positive statement from Business Finland.
