Feature Description

A tab in settings that can allow us to configure the greeter(lockscreen)

Use Case

This is usefull to configure greeter with some options, such as changing font, changing the time format, adding a seperate background, configuring the positions of modules, adding extra modules, etc...

as of now, you can edit configs in /var/cache/dms-greeter to customize it, and most guidance and what most people want is to just keep it in-sync with a users dms config - which is done by just symlinking config files.

A GUI would have some complications

• If the configs are symlinked, then they can't be edited separately
• Need elevated permissions to write files since they are under a different user

ik this not related to the feature, but did not want to make a seperate issue for this. Similar to celestia shell and kurukuru bar, can we have an option to add gifs or something to make the animation thing in the calendar bar? like how when u click on the music bar the animation of something moving like a character vibing or something can be added? and an option to add the shutdown and those kind similar to celestia dots.

like urs is so good it would be good if you could add an integration from theirs which would make yours the only one needed to install instead of having to install both and configure both.
