Is this alive?
Hi! I'm interested in this project, but not for MAUI applications, but for AvaloniaUI applications.
I wonder if this is being maintained. We definetely need a path to cover deploying standalone applications for all the supported OSes.
BTW, I have a library to create .deb packages. We can team up if you want. Thanks a lot for your time and effort.
Best. JMN
I've put this on the back burner as I just don't have time to look into one of the issues that I was having with the builds where Nuke was failing to actually install the dotnet tools. If you would like to help revive this project I'd be happy to work with you on it.
Oh, what was the problem? I had problems with Nuke in my Azure DevOps CI builds due to Android tools being removed from the images. If that was the problem, I have the solution. Other than that, I might be a bit lost because I'm not an expert in anything DevOps 😅 But your project is so interesting that I don't understand why it's not getting enough love. The fact that one could deploy applications for all the support platforms is the holy grail for a lot of devs!
I have been looking into the code, but found nothing. How does your code create .msix packages? I'm quite riddle with this because it's 2024 and I still don't know which is the best way to distribute Windows apps. Things become even worse for automated tools now that there are official marketplaces that are everything but friendly.
Same applies to Android and iOS.
