Feature Request: Browser Plugin

Maybe I am wrong here, but is it possible to have a browser plugin, that knows, where my fediverse profile is? It would be cool to have easy like and share buttons and comment fields that are connected to my Mastodon-profile, so that it works as easy as with Facebook.

Why

I know, the problem is, that a website can't know, where my Mastodon profile is. Thus it can't tell, where to send the like.

How

But if I have a browser plugin that has contains this information - wouldn't that make it possible for a website to request this data?
