Cubic: Sticky post duplicates

Steps to replicate

1. Set your site to display the latest posts on homepage
2. Create a few posts as sticky posts
3. View your site

Result

Out of all the sticky posts, only a few posts are duplicated twice. Once at the start and then when you scroll down

Expected

Posts should not be duplicated

After rechecking this, I found that the sticky posts do appear twice( found an article here: https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/116922/sticky-post-appears-twice)

I then also tested this on my site, I found that if we create any of the two older posts as sticky, they do appear twice, once on the first page and again on the original position. However, if I add latest posts as sticky they appear only once on the first page.

I found a similar issue at 5550584-zd-woothemes , but turning off the Infinite Scroll option seemed to solve the issue.

Regarding the report above (5550584-zd-woothemes): disabling Infinite Scroll did not resolve the issue. The issue persisted even with Infinite Scroll disabled.

In that case:

• The user had 10 sticky posts, interspersed among 7 non-sticky posts.
• Site is set to display 10 posts per page.
• The homepage displayed all 10 sticky posts and three non-sticky posts (a total of 13, for some reason?) to start.
• Loading in the second page loaded in posts 11-17, including the sticky posts already displayed.

Also, this is on the Revelar theme, not Cubic as in the initial report.
