Baskerville 2: Odd Spacing Between Homepage Posts on AT Sites with Lazy Load

Steps to replicate

  1. Create some posts on an AT site, at least 4.
  2. Activate the Baskerville 2 theme.
  3. Activate Lazy Load, on Manage > Settings > Performance > Performance & speed.
  4. Check the blog page on the live site.

Result

When Lazy Load is active there's an extra space between posts, at the bottom.

Expected

To have the same space between posts, either when using Lazy Load or not.

The screenshot below shows with Lazy Load disabled, and enabled:

It seems similar to this issue. The problem with the px value is the same, on my test site, when Lazy Load is active it loads top: 1315px, while with Lazy Load disabled is top: 1158px.

Worked around by disabling Asset CDN in Jetpack Performance settings.

Disabling Lazy Load fixed the issue with one exception:

Posts that have a video embedded in them will still show the gap, even with Lazy Loading disabled. Disabling Asset CDN and Image CDN did not help with this.

Found a workaround that worked for the user on 7697527-zen: Select "Post excerpt" when going to Appearance > Customizer > Content Options. Screenshot:
