Enable Deletion of Grading Elements in Sensei LMS

Description

It would be highly beneficial to introduce a feature in Sensei LMS that allows administrators to delete grading elements (e.g., quiz submissions, test results, etc.) for students. This functionality could address the following scenarios:

  1. Testing Phases: Remove test submissions made during the development or testing phase of the platform.
  2. Accidental Submissions: Allow the deletion of unintended quiz or assignment submissions by students.
  3. Data Management for Long-Running Sites: Enable the removal of outdated grading records that are no longer relevant to free up database space and improve performance.

Benefits

  • Enhanced data management and database optimization.
  • Reduced clutter in grading records, making it easier to focus on active data.
  • Improved flexibility for administrators managing their course materials and student records.

Suggested Implementation

  • Provide an option to delete individual grading records directly from the admin interface.
  • Include confirmation prompts to prevent accidental deletions.
  • Consider adding a bulk deletion feature for handling larger sets of outdated records efficiently.
