Make it easier to visually understand which emails are enabled/disabled

Open Imran92 opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe

At this moment, the only way for the user to visually differentiate between enabled and disabled Emails in the Settings -> Emails list is a slightly different background color of the list items, which can be confusing, especially for a new user. For example, this user (8690484-zd-a8c) complained that their email was not being sent, even after they tried everything from changing SMTP configuration to using email loggers, etc. In actuality, the issue was just the email being disabled by default, which they didn't understand right away when they looked at the Email table in the settings.

Describe the solution you'd like

To make it more clearly understandable. Maybe adding a "Status" column that indicates if the Email is enabled or disabled, or some other way.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Using a color, or, adding a "(Disabled)" comment at the end of the name of the email, or, making the text grayer.

We should follow WordPress' lead and add a — Disabled status beside the name of the email if it's disabled. The default state would be enabled. This is similar to how posts and pages do it:
