Hi @dericleeyy - comments do work in Learning Mode, but you have to first add the 'Post Comments' block in the Site Editor for the lesson template.

When viewing a Lesson as an Administrator, click the 'Edit Site' in the Admin Bar and then add the Post Comments block under all the lesson content.

It is not styled all that well currently, but it works. In WordPress core 6.0, it looks like there will be a new Posts block for the Site Editor that will also help with styling, and we'll see how we can better style by default as well, but hopefully that helps for now?

Can we close this now @dericleeyy @burtrw ? I imagine @burtrw's answer is sufficient for the user?

@burtrw, I tested this and it seems like you can just add Post Comments Form block to the lesson template once, and that'll apply to all lessons.
