Podcast-specific notifications are not working

When I select specific podcasts for notification, I'm still getting badge notification for ALL new podcast episodes.

To recreate...

Profile -> Settings (cog) -> Notifications -> Switched on for new episodes, specific podcasts chosen, app badge for new episodes

My expectation of this setting is that if only certain podcasts are specified, I'll only get app badges for those. If this is wrong, I'd say there's a mis-alignment of meaning here.

I'm using iOS 16.2 and Pocket Casts 7.29

Hey @dartiss , thanks so much for reporting this issue. I think this is more of UX issue that stands from the badge settings being under the Notification menu when the two are not connected. We'll look on how to improve, but for now, setting as low priority

Thanks. Yeah, that makes sense and I did wonder if that was the case. However, this does raise the next point... Pocket Casts doesn't do what I'd like it to do. I'll raise another issue as an enhancement.
