Download/Playback: short pause when streaming an episode which completes its download

When you stream an episode and also set it to download, when the download completes, there is usually a short pause that occurs when the download completes.

I believe this is more common when users have Auto Downloads enabled. I was able to replicate it by:

  • Starting a download for an episode
  • Quickly pressing play
