Testing the latest released version (1.8.2) in Chrome on Ubuntu 18.04 (which now supports emoji) I encountered an extremely strange bug.

Typing is normal until an emoji is pasted into the text box, at which point all entered text reverses. I haven't had time to test this beyond just one browser yet.
