Bylines are correct but articles don't show on author page

I had hundreds of articles published with a single author before Co-Authors Plus was installed, and now that it's been installed for a while, I've noticed something. If you look at the search results for an author (link) it shows all of their posts. This is because I use a plugin that allows the search to index custom fields. If you look at the author's page (link) it doesn't show all of the articles.

I thought that issue #508 sounded similar, so I followed these instructions, but they didn't work. I ran the WP-CLI command wp co-authors-plus create-terms-for-posts in my WordPress directory with SSH. Nothing happened for a few seconds, then it spit out hundreds of messages like this:

1343/1344) Skipping - Post #16080 '15,000 People Attend Student-Led March for George Floyd' already has these terms:estellazhou, naomibirenbaum

The post it mentions was created after I installed Co-Authors Plus and is correctly displayed on the pages of both authors. That's the case with all of them. I'm using my host's online SSH terminal, so I can't see all of the history, but all of the messages said that the post was skipped, and nothing changed on my website.

How can I fix this?

Edit: Running wp co-authors-plus list-posts-without-terms doesn't return anything.

Is the guest author linked to a user account? For the posts that are missing from the author page, which is the term from the author taxonomy assigned to it?

There are no guest authors. They are all user accounts.

@jxxe: Do you see the same problem when deactivating all other plugins and using a default WordPress stheme, such as the Twenty Twenty-one theme? I'm asking as I'm unable to reproduce this problem on my end when using a default theme and the Co-Authors-Plus plugin only.

I'll try to test it soon and get back to you. I've since solved the problem by completely ignoring it.

Thanks for your quick feedback and I'm looking forward to receiving your test results. 😀
