String added to author archive page title

On author archive pages in full site editing themes, the string "Author:" is added to the page title even if the toggle "Show archive type in template" is set to hide it.

The string also appears untranslated which I guess is a related issue. See this forum post on translation.

I get this issue with version 3.6.1, Wordpress 6.5.2 and TwentyTwentyThree theme 1.4.
