first/initial sync failed on Mac - missing daily note location?

my environment

  • using plugin version 1.02 -
  • Obsidian 0.15.9
  • all updated
  • trying within a separate vault with minimal plugins

Plugin Settings

  • default (besides Pinboard Api token of course)

Problem

Error message

  • [Pinboard sync] failed

hint

  • it works in an entire new vault
  • could have to do with the daily note location
  • surprisingly there is no setting to direct the plugin to the daily note location
    • is this the missing part?

Any clue what I am missing?

Thanks for raising this. The plugin fetches the daily note location via obsidian's daily notes interface, which is provided by the core daily notes plug in. So I can try to reproduce, what are the settings for this plugin set to?
