Synthesis 5.0.0 Beta

Welcome and thank you for trying out the Synthesis Beta! Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, so if you have any feedback, please feel free to make an issue on the issues page.

Now our input and settings configuration modals are in the process of updating to the new UI so in the meantime, please refer to this post for all the controls within Synthesis.

Basic Robot Controls

Driving controls for the robot are WASD. Basic arcade drive controls Use the top numbers to control any arms your bot might have, and use shift to reverse them Use E to pickup gamepieces and SPACE to shoot them

Camera

Use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out, and hold down the left mouse button to orbit

GodMode

Hold down G and left click to drag dynamic objects in the scene. (WARNING: this is very much a fun feature and can cause interesting issues. Use with caution)

Gizmo

When moving around your bot after spawning, you can hit escape or enter to exit the gizmo control and resume playing

UI

When in the simulator, use the left menu to access features You can also use escape to access the escape menu which contains mode-specific options
