PR: Wrong EPSG-code when entering in GUI

Open peterlund0 opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

Problem Description

When entering an ESPG-code in the GUI (in my case 3011, SWEREF 99 18 00) an incorrect code appears: EPSG:6619. I have no problem with Utah (NSRS11.UT-C), but unfortunately this incorrect code comes through in the IFC-file: RevitIFC4exportGeoref This seems to happen irrespective of what EPSG code that I try to reference, but I haven't tried all of course. Same issue in Revit 2022.7: IFC 22.77.0.0, Revit 2024.3: IFC 24.2.0.0 and Revit 2025.3

Revit Version

2024.0.x

IFC for Revit Addon Version

24.x.x

Windows Version

OK, this is odd. When you type in "3011", it says "EPSG:6619", but it shows the information for Sweden: https://epsg.io/3011 And yes, https://epsg.io/6619 is for Utah (although the information it shows is correct). But: https://spatialreference.org/ref/epsg/3011/wkt.html shows AUTHORITY 6619 - I wonder if the parser is getting confused there? This may be a Revit issue, but will check further.

The issue is reproducible in Revit versions 2022–2025, where entering EPSG code 3011 in the GeoReference GUI results in EPSG:6619 being incorrectly written to the IFC file. The issue is not reproducible in Revit 2026 — the correct EPSG code is retained during IFC export.
