PR: IfcSlab exported as sub-elements wit inaccurate Base Quantities

Open let4mi opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

Problem Description

... Using the latest version of Revit 2022 IFC exporter (22.6.2.0) exported IfcSlab is not exported as one element but it's made from multiple sub-elements. (Each polyline used to make geometry of the slab in Revit is exported as a separately extruded element) Each sub-element contains it's own GUID and values for the Base quantities that are not accurate, or to be precise - each sub elements shows NetArea, NetVolume and Perimeter of the entire Slab (as shown in the images below) image

Using the latest exporter from Revit 2024 - it's not the case, the entire slab is exported as it used to be (as one element with accurate quantities )

2022.1.x

IFC for Revit Addon Version

22.6.2

Windows Version

This is something we are aware of and are addressing. Thanks for the report - if you have a sample file to send, we can verify if our work fixes your issue also.
