Changing background is not working

Description

Hi. For a while now switching the background image doesn't work anymore...

Expected Behavior

The background image stays the same when the switch to dark or light mode occurs

Open Auto Dark Mode and go to settings, you will find a channel picker there.

Good to hear! This issue has been opened before and it got fixed quite a while back.

Pushing to stable is delayed because we need to prepare a release for it and I don't have time. For the foreseeable future I would recommend everyone to switch to beta.

The bug report template requires testing on beta first as that is the active dev branch.
