When trying to install the latest version, (2.3.1) Windows SmartScreen blocks the download and gives this warning prior to running it.

And defender says why. Not commonly downloaded. And not signed. Can't do anything about that. Signing is too expensive.

When you're dealing with one-off programs, you can run them through virus total as well to see what AV's pick it up. most of the time it's fine because this is GitHub and everything is open source and if there were any viruses, it'd be dealt with swiftly.
