I consider this as completed.

Any code earlier than 57eb725c482d6a520d995d6c52172094020cc5e8 can be considered MIT. The newer code was still released under GPL.

As I hold ownership of most of the backend code, I reserve the possibility to re-release that portion in a new repo under a new license if merging with PowerToys is still possible. (which was the original goal of the license shift). If that is ever the case and I have forgotten to remove substantial contributions, please contact me to get the code removed.

I will also link the new repo. However, merging with PowerToys is probably very unlikely from now on, so I don't believe that any of this will happen as apart from that I am happy with GPL 3.
