GPL this please!
WordPress powers more than 30% of the web and this SDK cannot go on to the WordPress.org repository because it is not licensed under GPL. There are plugins on the repository using the deprecated AIM and SIM methods with thousands on active sites using them, and I imagine it will be very difficult for existing users to migrate unless the SDK is not open sourced under GPL. Is a switch in license possible?

Is there any update on this? Thanks!
@KarthikeyanKumar just adding a point on top of @mohsinoffline's request, the library doesn't have to be licensed as GPL, it can be GPL-compatible, which include many types of open-source licenses like the popular MIT license.
