Level select bug that needs investigating

Describe the bug On the page for Suikyo is the following warning:

Oops, the level selector works buggy! Don't use it! (When something is wrong, it keeps selecting the same level. If you really want to use selector and is not behaving nicely, please select a New Game then use the level selector. The save data only keeps the level you have beaten or not. So if you are not a perfectionist, it will not affect the game experience at all, so feel free to use the selector.)

Might want to investigate this since it sounds like an engine bug, or ask for more info.
