Black screen after forced to power off

I was following the plailect guide and got to the point of installing SafeA9LHInstaller. I loaded SafeA9LHInstaller and everything seemed fine. I pressed select and the screen immediately went blank. After waiting roughly a minute I turned the power off.

Now I only get a blank screen and the power light. Visited #3dshacks and troubleshooting there seems to point to a brick.

I'm in the same spot, any conclussions?

So apparently, this bricks the console. I had to send mine in to Nintendo for repair (thank god it was still covered by the warranty).
