Different generation quality between "command line" and direct mode
Hi,
Audiveris version : 5.2.5 I have a Tiff file, result of a ghostscript conversion of a merged 2 page pdf.
The mxl file weighs 19kb in the case of live generation: dragdrop of the Tiff file under audiveris. If batch generation, the file weighs 10 KB and contains more errors, audiveris does not translate it seems to me the end of the Tiff, probably the second page.
Here is the batch syntax: "C:\Program Files\Audiveris\bin\Audiveris.bat" -batch -export -output "C:/_Didier/Shared VirtuaBox Folders/OneDrive/_SecondVoice/out_FILES/D/DANCHA/OP0128A/DANCHA_OP0128A_PDF_6BB8D407/_RunOMR" -- " C:/_Didier/VirtuaBox Shared Folders/OneDrive/_SecondVoice/out_FILES/D/DANCHA/OP0128A/DANCHA_OP0128A_PDF_6BB8D407/_Tmp/OP0128A_NO0001#DANCHA_OP0128A_PDF_6BB8D407"
I don t undersand this difference, perhaps the command line syntax is bad or wthout the appropriate switch ? I have read the doc about the command line and I can t find anything valuable for me.
thank for your return
@dfaud
I had hard time to decypher your command line. If I put every argument on a separate line, this gives:
"C:\Program Files\Audiveris\bin\Audiveris.bat"
-batch
-export
-output
"C:/_Didier/Shared VirtuaBox Folders/OneDrive/_SecondVoice/out_FILES/D/DANCHA/OP0128A/DANCHA_OP0128A_PDF_6BB8D407/_RunOMR"
--
" C:/_Didier/VirtuaBox Shared Folders/OneDrive/_SecondVoice/out_FILES/D/DANCHA/OP0128A/DANCHA_OP0128A_PDF_6BB8D407/_Tmp/OP0128A_NO0001#DANCHA_OP0128A_PDF_6BB8D407"
What puzzles me is the difference in radices between the output folder and the input file:
- "C:/_Didier/Shared VirtuaBox Folders/OneDrive/_SecondVoice/out_FILES... vs
- " C:/_Didier/VirtuaBox Shared Folders/OneDrive/_SecondVoice/out_FILES...
Could you confirm these radices are the correct ones?
Also, what did you do precisely in interactive mode? Did you launch the program with some or no arguments at all? Which actions did you perform?
A side remark: you should be able to run Audiveris directly on your PDF files, there is no need to go through a Tiff file.
No news on this issue. Should we close it?
