First page exported without notes for score of IMSLP693369

This is a super-nice score, and Audiveris says it recognizes more or less everything (although from the third page onwards, it has some problem with time signatures). However, when I export this as MXL, the first page has no notes. Why?

As always, here are pdf, omr, log and mxl in a single zip: IMSLP693369_S3-8.zip

Hello Harald,

my apologies for the slow reply - I haven't actively worked for Audiveris in the last half year. I'm hoping to support it a little bit better in the future.

I re-ran Audiveris on the first page of your score. At the end of the PAGE step, an error related to the time signature is reported. This is strange because the time signature symbols are well recognized. Anyway, it could be a bug with the text recognition we need to investigate soon.

Resettting time signatures manually fixes the issue. I attached the fixed score so you can open it in a music editor of your choice: Adagio in B Albinoni.zip

This score still contains minor notational mistakes you would like to fix before playing the piece:

  • bar 24, Oboe, 3rd note is surely "es", not "f"
  • bar 33, Organo, left hand, 3rd chord is probably "g1-d2", not "f1-d2"

Liebe Grüße

No problem - this is all hobby.

(It's anyway a question when and for what to use score scanning; I am quite fast writing music in my preferred music editor, so I do not have to use a scanning software, and survived without one for more than 20 years :-). I'll adapt, and learn ...).

Just for the record, I tried the input file with Audiveris 5.3.

No problem, except near the end of sheet 3, measure 32, because of a way too short stem between a beam and a note head. Something easy to fix manually.

No problem with time signatures. And to my knowledge the note heads are correct in bar 24 and 33 which Maxim flagged as incorrect.

I suggest to close this issue now.
