Use for inputs

Is it possible to use the effects for inputs aswell? I could only manage to apply effects to the audio playing form apps on my system, but would like to apply it to my microphone input, so that I can pass a compressed and eq'ed signal to something like a video call.

Hey, wondering about this as well. Does this already work with a setting? Or is it planned?
