Advantages when compared to Glype?

Hello! The readme says:

The main motivation behind the creation of this project is to create a better alternative to Glype which at that time was extremely lacking in many features that I wanted.

Can you please explain what advantages PHP-Proxy has over Glype?

Also, what about the inverse? I see that Glype has support for Facebook, for example.

I've used Glype before with some success - really, I'm just curious how this stacks up and which tool I should use for a new project.
