Curate great examples in issues

Following #1759, I think that curating a few great examples from past issues would be awesome.

Things to do:

• [ ] Go through old issues and label under Great Examples
• [ ] Perhaps integrate into the example folder in the main repo?
• [ ] Add reference to home page / readme
