Laptop not booting after installation

I recently installed Manjaro Linux in a new Asus machine. I'm using the 5.15 Linux Kernel. When I tried installing optimus-manager and optimus-manager-qt, the laptop didn't boot. It gets stuck at the /dev/unit clean, xxx/xxx files, xxx/xxx blocks screen. I followed the readme instructions including the /etc/sddm.conf file edition. When I uninstall both packages, the laptop boots normally.

Sup @bejucoo . Are you still facing this issue using optimus-manager-git recently? I have a Asus TUF Dash F15 myself, with SDDM+i3 and haven't faced this issue.

Since this issue isn't active for the last year and a lot has changed in many aspects of multiple software, we'll keep this case opened for some days and close it if no further comments are provided.

Hello @nwildner,

I stopped using Manjaro and started using Endeavour which doesn't use Optimus Manager (at least not by default). So I can't really tell. I hope no one faces this issue anymore.
