Username and password are not compatible I even tried to change the password, but it still says it's wrong.
just change username to root or your username of database and password to your password of database. This changes to be made in dist folder's Inventory Management jar file and make sure use the username and password of the users that are already inserted in users table when interface is open. Check it in workbench or command client once. (One of the username is root and password is root of the administrator)

Hi I have connected to the database, but I am unable to connect as user who already exists in the db, i have changed the category to usertype in the source code but I cannot login still as root or any other user. Kindly assist.
Is the built and source code projects the same? and do they use the same db
Just change administrator or employee accordingly and change the password of your database in XML file and then once check the entries in database in MySQL client shell, then pass in the username and password accordingly

I am getting error Invalid username or password I have followed the steps provided above but am still unable to login please help me with the issue

change the password mention in all the folders file somewhere in xml file it must have been mentioned please check that
