Unable to notify

  • Device: oppo ace
  • OS: [Android 10]
  • APP: [0.9.6]

2. Describe the bug

Opening the app will refresh the notification in the notification bar, I turned off the power optimization and kill the background, but there is no notification

Still an issue under Android 14. Notification permission listing shows 0 notifications sent.

Same.

Device: Oneplus Nord N200 OS: LineageOS 20 (Android 13) no gapps App version: 0.9.12

Edit: I tried turning on notifications, but was never prompted to allow notifications by the system.

Edit 2: that worked. Add a new feed, swipe up to go to app switcher, tap read you icon, tap app info, tap notifications, and turn them on. Switch back to read you, long press a feed, and tap allow notification (it doesnt respect the setting when you add the feed for some reason)
