How to update and keep history and settings?

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

There is no description how to update and keep settings and history. If I just download a new version and execute it, then all the history is lost, also settings are lost. I would like to keep settings and history.

There is a related issue #61 but if I copy user.config then I get only settings. I have no idea where the history is stored and how to transfer it into the new version.

• Please integrate the update check for new versions into the app
• Please ensure that settings and history are transfered into a new version
• document, how to install a new version in a way which keeps settings and history, if it is not intuitive

Hi @aisbergde, your saved network history files are the .sqlite files found under the "C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\OpenNetMeter" folder. You dont have to transfer the history data after updating.

Regarding the settings files, I'll try to find a solution for it.
